Guides and documentation
From your first link to a useful report.
Start with one campaign and one link. Add a separate link for each email, SMS, social post or printed placement you want to compare.
1. Give your campaign a name
Create a campaign with a name you will recognise, such as “October launch”. Add a link for each place you will share it and name it clearly, such as “October email”. Every plan lets you organise as many campaigns as you need.
2. Publish your first link
Enter the destination page visitors should open, using an address that starts with https://. Save the draft, then publish it to get a short link you can share. Saving a draft keeps your changes for later; publishing makes them live. For internal checks, mark a separate link as test traffic so those visits stay out of your campaign results.
3. Explore your results
After people start opening your link, go to Reports and choose your campaign and dates. Reports can take a little time to update. Check for any delay or missing-data notice before deciding that a quiet chart means nobody visited.
4. Keep your links organised
Pause or archive links you may want to use again; they still count towards your link allowance. Permanently retire a link only when you no longer need it, as it cannot be used again. Account owners manage domains and team invitations under Domains & team. Invitations are valid for seven days.
5. Add a domain you own
On a paid plan, open Domains & team and add an address such as go.your-domain.com. The app gives you exact DNS records: these are settings to add where your domain is managed. Copy the TXT and CNAME records as shown, using DNS-only mode for the CNAME, and keep them in place. Ask whoever manages your domain if you need help. Complete the ownership check within 24 hours. We handle the secure connection and its renewal; once the domain shows Ready, choose it in your link’s editor. Changing the domain keeps the same link, destinations and statistics.
